Hey guys, today I want to introduce a young designer whose show I saw at Berlin Fashion Week in January. The designer Samantha-Jane Agbontaen was inspired by her mum who is a fashion designer as well. Samantha-Jane's London label FABRYAN was founded in 2010 and became a popular eco-fashion luxus label. The AW14 collection "La femme fatale" was presented in a catwalk show at Lavera Showfloor Berlin. The pieces had clean cuts with high end tailoring and thus, appeared very elegant, sexy and sophisticated. I liked the show which was presented by the German Meise twins. I always like the Lavera Showfloor during Berlin Fashion Week as I am a big advocate of ethical values.

Today I want to present one of my favorite shows: UMASAN by the twins Anja and Sandra Umann. UMASAN is a vegan high fashion label. Not using animal products means that there isn't any wool, cashmere, leather and fur in the collections. Instead they are using sustainable fabrics like SeaCell (seaweeds), MicroModal (beech wood) and TENCEL (eucalyptus wood). This ecological production is really interesting to me as it respresents a new generation of fabrication. The label is inspired by traditional yoga philosophy and its idea of pure life and the conjunction between mind, body and spirit. Read more about UMASAN here. The show was great beginning with dancers dressed in black. I really liked the different types of models: females, males, younger and older ones, light-skinned and dark-skinned models. The pieces were all black using different asymmetric shapes, leggings with faux leather, big hoods, collars and huge pockets. You should also have a look at those shoes! Hey guys, I'm back from Berlin and it was awesome! Today I want to present "YO MADAME" by Anne Gorke. Her show was one of my favorites!
Her designs combined female elegance with streetstyle. Sportive shirt dresses, oversized pullovers and Nike trainers were combined with blouses and skirts. I love it! The cuts and shapes were influenced by the Bauhaus style from Weimar. The main colors were black, white and rose and all of her fabrics are organic or eco-friendly, thumbs up for Anne Gorke! The runway presentation was really groovy and one of my highlights: two drummers accompanied the peppy music and for the finale the models were dancing and carrying balloons in the shape of "YO". Even Anne Gorke was dancing on the catwalk. Congratulations Anne Gorke!
